I've taken some time this week to hack Pixie some more and it now has the following new features:

Pretty much everything is a component plugin now. Over 30 effects, a thumbnail image management view, and color editors are all now dynamically loaded as needed. This allows me to keep on adding more and more features while still keeping Pixie small, fast, and efficent for quickly viewing images. Pixie starts out as a tiny little image viewer, then loads new features as the user requests them.

It now has much more extensive thumbnail and image management. There is a revamped UI, support for multiple persistant thumbnail sizes, right mouse button menus for most items, easy access to most file operations like copy and move, more dialogs, and full internet transparent D'ND support so things can be dragged back and forth with apps like Konqueror.

Hotlist support has been added. In the thumbnail view you can add frequently used directories to the "Hotlist". Then when managing images you have one-click access to copying and moving files to any directory residing in the Hotlist, as well as changing to any Hotlist directory. The Hotlist can be accessed either from the RMB menu or from clicking the Hotlist tab on the upper left hand frame.
